Our company is looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide care to adults with disabilities. The individual in this role will focus on the physical and emotional well-being of our clients, as well as their personal care and living environment. All applicants should have a genuine interest in helping others as well as professional experience working with individuals with special needs. Our ideal candidate is outgoing and able to work as part of a larger team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying
- Helping plan client appointments and organize a schedule
- Organizing with transportation arrangements to appointments
- Shopping for groceries and preparing meals that meet specific client dietary needs
- Encouraging client engagement in social networks and communities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
