NOW HIRING – MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT
The City of Dudley is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to serve as Maintenance Superintendent.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the City's maintenance department.
- Supervising one direct-report employee.
- Mowing and maintaining city-owned properties and rights-of-way.
- Locating, repairing, and maintaining water lines and related infrastructure.
- Overseeing water meter readings and utility-related operations.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the City's water and sewer systems.
- Responding to water leaks, sewer issues, and utility emergencies.
- Operating and maintaining maintenance equipment, tools, and city vehicles.
- Coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring city infrastructure is properly maintained.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in municipal maintenance, public works, utilities, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Valid Georgia driver's license required.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor.
- Water and wastewater certifications are a plus but not required.
Pay is based on experience and/or certifications.
A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required.
