Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
Welcome customers, inform them about specials or new items, answer questions, and accept orders and payments in coffee shops/cafes.
Prepare food, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grind and blend coffee beans, brew coffee and tea, and serve items to customers.
Package food and beverages for sale.
Clean and restock work and dining areas, empty trash, push in chairs, and sanitize equipment and utensils.
Maintains food/product/supply quality and safety following HACCP and departmental standards.
Take inventory and replenish items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
Provide excellent customer service.
Report safety hazards as well as equipment in need of repair.
Assist in other areas (Dishroom, Food Production, Cafeteria, etc.) as needed.
