Duties
- Collaborate with sales teams to present financing options that meet customer needs and enhance upselling opportunities
- Review credit applications, perform credit analysis, and structure transactions to secure favorable loan terms for clients
- Ensure all loan processing adheres to industry regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and local automotive finance laws
- Manage title processing, contract preparation, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain excellent customer relationships by providing transparent communication, explaining financing terms clearly, and addressing client inquiries promptly
- Utilize dealership management software (e.g., CDK) to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Stay updated on automotive sales industry regulations and financial compliance standards to uphold dealership integrity
Experience
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in automotive financing within a dealership environment
- Strong background in customer relationship management, sales negotiation, and upselling techniques
- Familiarity with automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing, and contract law
- Experience with financial software systems such as CDK or equivalent tools for transaction structuring and processing
- Demonstrated ability to analyze credit reports, perform math calculations accurately (including 10-key typing), and interpret financial data effectively
- Knowledge of automotive finance industry regulations and compliance standards related to financial services and loan processing
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
