Experienced Labor & Delivery RNs Wanted for a 13-Week Travel Assignment

Assignment Details
- Location: Auburn, New York
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
- Compensation: Up to $2,500 per week
- Block Scheduling Available
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using fetal monitoring equipment.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean section procedures.
- Care for high-risk obstetric and antepartum patients.
- Perform newborn assessments and stabilization.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical documentation.
Qualifications
Required
- Active New York RN License or proof of application
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current NRP Certification
- Current AWHONN Intermediate & Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification
- Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Preferred Experience
- High-risk antepartum and Mother/Baby care
- Fetal monitoring and IUPC management
- Circulating and recovering cesarean sections
- High-risk deliveries
- Newborn assessment and stabilization
- Postpartum care and breastfeeding support
- Magnesium sulfate administration
- Insulin drip management
- Hypertensive pregnancy management
