Lupe's Home & Office Cleaning is a growing residential and commercial cleaning company in San Antonio, running multiple field teams every day. We're hiring an Operations Manager to run our daily operations so the business performs reliably and our crews are set up to succeed. THE ROLE
You'll be the day-to-day engine of the business; you'll own scheduling, staffing, light bookkeeping, payroll, and customer issue resolution, and lead our field teams to hit daily revenue and quality targets. This role reports directly to the Owner and is built to operate with increasing independence as you prove yourself.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operations & Scheduling
- Open the office, prepare teams, and keep daily operations running smoothly
- Build and optimize team schedules and routes up to 7 days out; adjust same-day for call-ins and shortages
- Keep operations on revenue targets (about $630/team minimum, about $5,000/day)
- Monitor job check-ins and progress; reassign teams that fall behind
Team Leadership
- Supervise field teams and run post-shift check-ins on quality and feedback
- Make crew hiring decisions and oversee onboarding
- Coordinate weekly availability and the Saturday rotation fairly across teams
Finance & Administration
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time (complete by 2 PM Wednesday)
- Enter payments (cash, check, Zelle, commercial ACH); review and close invoices
- Manage accounts payable, review and categorize bank transactions, and prep bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
- Remit collected sales taxes on schedule
Customer Service
- Resolve escalated customer feedback and service issues
- Prepare custom and commercial quotes
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience, ideally in cleaning, janitorial, home services, or another field-service business
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Strong organization and attention to detail; the kind of person who catches a small error before it becomes a payroll or billing problem
- Comfortable learning and working in business software daily (scheduling platforms, QuickBooks Online, payroll systems, CRM)
- Dependable and trustworthy with payments and sensitive information
- Solid people-management and conflict-resolution skills
COMPENSATION
- $54,000/year to start, with a performance review and increase to $58,000 to $60,000 after a successful 6-month review period
- Full-time, in-office, Monday to Friday with early start times; some Saturday coordination
