This position is responsible for the quality manufacture of paint products within the Hurst, Texas manufacturing facility. The quality of the products produced directly impacts our customers and the success of GPS Paints.
Machine Operator, Paint Line
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor paint filling and labeling machinery to ensure efficient and consistent production output.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot filling line equipment, including conveyors, fillers, and labeling systems, to maintain optimal performance.
- Verify that the machine settings are correct and ensure that the labels are applied properly,
- Record production data and machine performance metrics to maintain accurate inventory counts and support quality control standards.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance of filling and labeling equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Maintain organized production areas and adhere to housekeeping and safety standards in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to address equipment issues and improve production efficiency.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college or trade preferred.
- Prior experience in an industrial and/or production environment preferred.
- Punctuality and attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment with some degree of exposure to dust, fumes, high and low temperatures, and noise.
- Ability to work in confined spaces for limited periods of time.
- Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
