Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for supervising maintenance activities and leading small teams when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Fabricate parts as needed, including welding components for repairs.
- Operate and maintain logic controllers, ensuring proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become significant problems.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with production needs.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including the use of an ohmmeter for testing circuits.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and blueprints.
- Experience in fabricating parts and performing welding tasks is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their operation in industrial settings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
