American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Labor & Delivery experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 3 trauma center in Washington state.

Labor & Delivery unit within a 388-bed Level 3 trauma center featuring 12 L&D beds, 3 ORs, and 2 OB ER rooms
-
Patient population includes high and low risk antepartum, intrapartum, C-sections, emergent D&Cs, post-delivery tubal ligations, and unplanned hysterectomies
-
Facility averages 150–175 deliveries per month

12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730
-
36 hours per week with every other weekend rotation
-
No floating required and no on-call obligations

EMR: Epic
-
Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience required

Experience with L&D case types including C-sections, emergent D&Cs, post-delivery tubal ligations, and unplanned hysterectomies required

CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required

BLS certification required
-
Washington state license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities include assisting after vaginal delivery, setting up and breaking down delivery tables for vaginal deliveries, and helping stock rooms

Hospital-provided dark blue scrubs

At least one professional reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) required for consideration, with a second reference required prior to start
