Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Hotel Director of Operations to lead and oversee all facets of hotel management including Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. This role will assist and answer to the General Manager.
Full Service IHG Holiday Inn experience is preferred.

As the driving force behind daily hotel functions, you will coordinate departments, manage budgets, and implement strategic initiatives to elevate the property’s performance. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services.
- Lead and supervise hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management strategies, expense control, and financial reporting to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with hotel management standards, property management systems (PMS), and guest service protocols to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and implement policies to uphold hotel guest service standards, enhance guest relations, and resolve escalated customer issues promptly.
- Coordinate with human resources for staffing, training programs, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Utilize hospitality reservation systems and property management tools to streamline bookings, monitor occupancy rates, and optimize revenue opportunities.
- Monitor night audit procedures and oversee front desk operations to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes using multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data, guest feedback, and industry trends to innovate service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in overseeing hospitality operations within hotels or resorts with a strong background in hotel management or related fields.
- Supervisory experience managing diverse hospitality teams with excellent leadership skills.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), revenue management techniques, budgeting, and financial operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests and staff.
- Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations and maintaining high standards of guest relations.
- Experience in human resources functions such as staffing, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems, night audit procedures, front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette protocols.
- Resort experience or background in managing large-scale properties is a plus.
