This role is responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, IAQ systems, and ductwork installations. You will oversee projects from preparation to final startup, ensuring every system is installed correctly, safely, and efficiently. This includes managing jobsite workflow, mentoring junior installers, troubleshooting challenges, maintaining code compliance, and serving as the trusted face of Spurk HVAC in customers' homes.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, highly organized, and committed to delivering top-tier workmanship.
Lead complete residential HVAC system installations, including heating, cooling, ductless, and indoor air quality equipment. Manage installation planning, jobsite setup, material coordination, and project completion. Supervise and mentor apprentice and junior installers while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Troubleshoot installation issues and make field adjustments as needed. Complete system startups, testing, and homeowner walkthroughs while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and company quality standards.
Strong experience installing residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, A/C systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ductwork
Proven leadership ability in residential installation environments
EPA 608 Certification required
OSHA 10 Certification preferred
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
Excellent troubleshooting and field problem-solving skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, rooftops, and other residential job-site conditions
$32.00 - $42.00 per hour based on experience
