Thompson San Antonio is seeking an energetic and experienced Bartender to elevate our beverage service and create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily bar operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your expertise in mixology, food safety, and hospitality will drive the success of our bar team, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and engaged.
Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to the following:)

Lead the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to quality standards

Enforce food safety and food handling protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations in a busy nightlife or banquet setting
Qualifications:

Proven bartending experience in a high volume or fine dining restaurant or dining facility.

Previous hospitality experience preferred

Must have a working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes.

Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry, transactions and sales tracking

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours

Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures

Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor

TABC Certification Required
