What You’ll Do
- Carry out treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility interventions
- Educate participants and caregivers on assistive devices and safety
- Document treatments accurately and report status changes
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe treatment environment
What You’ll Need
- Associate’s degree from a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active California PTA license
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with geriatric patients required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
