We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves the sun, the vibrant atmosphere of Lake Michigan, and the thrill of a high-volume dining experience. This role is perfect for someone with proven front-of-house management experience, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring a smooth workflow during peak hours.- Support the General Manager in managing staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that prioritizes guest satisfaction; address any concerns promptly and professionally.- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service.- Monitor inventory and assist with the ordering of supplies as necessary.- Help implement marketing initiatives and promotions to drive business during the season.- Uphold safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a front-of-house management role within a high-volume restaurant setting.- Strong understanding of guest service principles and a passion for hospitality.- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- A love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying sunny days by Lake Michigan.- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
