HB McClure is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, retrofit, and design-build projects from kickoff through closeout. You’ll own the full lifecycle — schedule, budget, field coordination, customer communication, and financial performance — working side-by-side with our foremen, field teams, and customers to deliver high-quality work safely and profitably. This is a hands-on, onsite role with regular jobsite presence and daily collaboration with operations and field leaders.
Base compensation starting at $75k/annually with final pay determined based on qualifications and experience.
- Lead multiple commercial mechanical construction projects from award through completion
- Build and manage schedules, budgets, and execution plans
- Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, and materials
- Track costs, billings, forecasts, and change orders to protect margins
- Review drawings and contracts to manage scope and risk
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and productivity
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams
- Identify and solve problems quickly to keep projects moving timely and efficiently
- 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC/plumbing construction project management experience
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, documentation, cost controls and financial tracking
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget goals
- Demonstrated leadership experience directing field teams and subcontractors and driving accountability for project results
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills to effectively collaborate with field teams, engineers, general contractors, and customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other construction management software preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical or trade education preferred)
- Valid PA driver’s license with acceptable driving record
