iSchiller Law Offices is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Compliance Officer to oversee operational compliance, support managers, and help ensure the firm operates efficiently and consistently across all departments. The Compliance Officer will play a critical role in monitoring compliance with internal policies and procedures, coordinating operational initiatives, preparing executive reports, tracking performance metrics, forecasting trends, and supporting leadership with strategic projects. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain compliance with firm policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Implement and update internal processes to improve efficiency and ensure consistency across departments.
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and documentation to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, forecasts, and presentations.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist with department and employee performance evaluations.
- Analyze operational data and provide recommendations to improve productivity and workflow.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance files.
- Coordinate projects and initiatives between departments to ensure timely completion.
- Manage executive calendars, communications, and administrative priorities as needed.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, management, and staff to support organizational objectives.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Perform other compliance and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and implement solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience preparing reports, analyzing data, and presenting information to leadership.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Previous experience in compliance, operations, office management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
