Shift: Nights | 7 On / 7 Off | Thursday – Thursday | 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Lancaster, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care by ensuring safe and effective medication therapy, collaborating with the healthcare team, and supporting quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately.
- Monitor medication therapy and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure safe medication distribution and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
- Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and pharmacy regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Pay: $4,200.00 - $4,400.00 per week
