New England Chimney Supply (NECS) is a leading manufacturing company specializing in chimney venting systems. We are currently looking for Sheet Metal Fabricators / Caps to join our team!
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The ability to take direction and learn internal manufacturing techniques & procedures.
- Ability to operate machinery which may include shears, brakes, spot welders, rollers, punches, and other metal fabrication tools.
- Attend required mandatory safety training on equipment and follow all safety protocols.
- Set up and operate equipment to form and assemble sheet metal products.
- Keep and maintain a clean workstation.
- Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Employee will be asked to bring basic tools including tape measure, ball peen hammer, speed square.
- Other Duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Able to stand for the majority of shifts.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- You must take pride in your work and pay attention to the product you are producing.
- Must have the mindset to enjoy working with their hands and producing a quality product.
