Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests during breakfast hours. This position involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are displayed attractively and are at the correct temperature.
- Serve breakfast items to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, countertops, and serving stations.
- Ffood preparation tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and food handling as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Skills
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette for guest interactions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is a plus, including banquet or catering experience.
- Skills in cleaning, bussing, serving, and general hospitality are essential.
