- Reading Coach/Reading Interventionist - The Read to Succeed (R2S) Reading Coach at Carolina Voyager Charter School serves as an instructional leader dedicated to growing strong readers and supporting teachers in delivering high-quality literacy instruction. Through coaching, modeling lessons, co-teaching, professional development, data-driven collaboration, and targeted reading intervention support, the Reading Coach works alongside teachers and students to strengthen reading achievement across all grade levels and content areas. By building teacher capacity and promoting evidence-based literacy practices grounded in the science of reading, the R2S Reading Coach helps ensure all Carolina Voyager students receive the instruction and support needed to become confident, successful readers.
- Minimum Qualifications:
Five (5)+ years of classroom teaching experience (required)
R2S Literacy Teacher Endorsement (required)
- Holds a bachelor's degree or higher and the R2S Literacy Coach or R2S Literacy Specialist endorsement; or
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or higher and is/will be actively pursuing the R2S Literacy Coach or R2S Literacy Specialist endorsement upon hiring, or
- Holds a master’s degree or higher in reading or a closely related field and is/will be actively pursuing the R2S Literacy Coach or R2S Literacy Specialist endorsement upon hiring.
