Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, replace, or upgrade appliances and mechanical components following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct diagnostics on HVAC & appliance technology issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs.
- Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist with construction-related tasks involving mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex equipment.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning—and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Ability to operate tools and machinery safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to explain technical issues effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
- Construction experience or familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices is advantageous.
- Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and safety initiatives are a plus.
