Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- Education and non-productive hours for Float Pool nurses; unit assignments vary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to individual patients or groups following established care standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct other nursing staff, delegating appropriately and ensuring seamless care.
- Collect and analyze patient data to inform diagnoses and care interventions.
- Develop individualized care plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to foster a safe and caring environment.
- Educate patients, families, and colleagues, providing clear health information and supporting learning opportunities.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with ICU experience
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and independent judgment in high-acuity settings
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and patient advocacy skills
