Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and home care environments. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Maintain accurate medical records using systems such as yardi.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home community care setting.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient environments.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
- Follow established protocols for infection control and patient safety.
- Promote engagement with our residents.
Skills
- Experience in long-term care or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems, particularly yardi
- Proficient in measuring and recording vital signs accurately.
- Previous experience in home care or senior care environments is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
