Current Openings: NDT Level II
Film & Non-Film Radiography Technician II FULL-TIME | NON-EXEMPT | QUALITY — NDT Perform film and non-film radiography to accept or reject aluminum castings, setting up and calibrating equipment and interpreting results against applicable codes and specifications.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Align parts, mask peripheral areas, and select film type, exposure distance, and time Set up and calibrate x-ray equipment; verify radiation intensities Take, remove, and develop radiographs; monitor the work area for personnel safety Mark and analyze defects found on film Investigate suspected discontinuities and make accept/reject decisions per procedure Perform required checks and calibrations to customer and industry specifications
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to Level I technicians and trainees
WHAT YOU BRING High school diploma or GED Level II Film Radiography (RT) certification required; Level II Non-Film (CR or DR) preferred Minimum 40 hours formal training / 1,200 hours experience as a Level I Texas Radiation Safety Card preferred Aerospace castings experience a plus
