As part of our growth and international expansion, we are opening our third manufacturing plant, located in Allen, Texas. Therefore, we are looking to add to our team a:
MAINTENANCE LEAD
(Líder / Coordinador de Mantenimiento)
Job Summary
Ensure the maintenance of company assets by supervising and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping them in optimal operating and productivity conditions, in a safe and sustainable manner, and at the optimal cost required by the company, in order to contribute to achieving organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Report recurring and critical failures of assigned assets related to hardware, mechanical, electrical, electronic systems, facilities, and operations, conducting proper analysis.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently to preserve assigned assets, ensuring proper machine operation.
- Manage software backups for assigned equipment to keep systems updated and request spare parts in advance (including generating reservations) for proper maintenance interventions.
- Execute preventive maintenance on hardware, electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic systems, and facilities within scheduled timeframes and quality standards.
- Respond to production department requests to immediately address and correct detected failures in assigned assets, including hardware, electrical, and operational electronic systems.
- Analyze failures, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
- Report time and activities related to corrective, preventive, and/or predictive maintenance, ensuring timely reporting.
- Plan and request necessary spare parts for preventive and corrective maintenance, maintaining adequate stock of critical components.
- Understand, follow, and execute the integrated management policy and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required by operational needs.
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (especially Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the food industry
- Industrial maintenance management, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Budget management and administration
- Industrial electromechanical maintenance
- Liquid or powder packaging processes, EAD’s / HACCP / 5S / Lean
- Predictive maintenance (thermography, vibration analysis)
Important
- Travel requirement: Availability to travel to Mexico for initial job training
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical-Electrical Engineering or related Electrical Engineering field (Required)
Experience
- 3 to 5 years in the food industry
- Industrial maintenance management, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Industrial electromechanical maintenance
Language
- English (fluent, non-negotiable) (Required)
- Spanish (fluent, non-negotiable) (Required)
