Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Academic OB/GYN Physician, you will help residents and patients achieve optimal women's health outcomes and educational excellence so they can thrive in their careers and receive exceptional care. This position is located in the growing Phoenix metro suburb of Gilbert, AZ.
Every day you will deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services, including antepartum, intrapartum, deliveries, and gynecological care, alongside actively educating and mentoring residents.
To be successful in this role, you must be board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN and possess a strong passion for teaching and clinical excellence.

Candidates should be interested in educating residents in OBGYN, as well as rotating residents from Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine

Research or scholarly activities are expected with .2 FTE carve out for teaching and academics

In-house call. Call frequency of 1:10

Full support and clinical integration with our Divisions of MFM/Advanced Gynecology/Patient Safety and Quality and Gynecological Oncology

Support of Pediatric Cardiologists and all sub-specialists from Phoenix Children's Hospital

New women's and children's pavilion in collaboration with Phoenix Children's Hospital on the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center campus with level IIIB NICU

Job Requirements
Required

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

Completed ACGME Residency training

Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona

Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

Team-oriented provider passionate about providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry, while serving the poor and underprivileged

This employed position is intended to function as core clinical faculty for an anticipated new ACGME acredited OBGYN residency program. Gilbert, AZ, is a vibrant and family-friendly town situated in the southeast part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. Boasting a desert climate with abundant sunshine, Gilbert offers residents approximately 300 days of clear skies each year. The town is recognized for its robust economy, access to top-rated schools and educational facilities.
