We're looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently. If you have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractors and commercial trailers, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel tractors and commercial trailers.
- Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, air brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems.
- Repair and maintain trailer components including brakes, lighting, air systems, suspension, and landing gear.
- Complete inspections in accordance with DOT and company standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working on Class 8 diesel tractors and commercial trailers.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of DOT inspection requirements.
- Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
