About the Job
We’re seeking to fill the role of Team Member - Cook and/or Helper for our Anvi's Café experience. As a Team Member - Cook or Helper, you will be the backbone of the ANVI XP brand and an integral part of our work to reimagine life's experiences for all of our guests.
In this role, you will contribute to meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help deliver delicious dishes that delight our guests and make them eager to return.
The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn, a desire to support the creation of authentic and genuine experiences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the ANVI Experience to our guests, your team, and all our vendors and suppliers through deliciously crafted food.
- Stay knowledgeable about our food offerings
- Assist in prepping ingredients and preparing food consistently while following recipes and standards
- Promote a collaborative, safe, and respectful work environment
- Keep back-of-house running safely, smoothly and beautifully–always ready for our team and guests
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products and areas to ensure quality and safety in every dish served
- Participate in marketing/content creation and events
Nice-to-Have's
- A willingness to learn and grow in the food and beverage and/or the hospitality industries
- Experience working with the Wok and making Vietnamese Cuisine
- Passion for the arts, the culinary world, and wow-ing guests’ food palettes
- Have a positive, solution-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and communicator skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Existing Food Handler’s Certification, or will obtain it within 30 days post-hire
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- As needed, comfortable squat, bend, twist, and reach below waist level and/or above shoulders
- Ability to lift, push/pull, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Availability for at least 3 days each week including being able to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortable with various environmental conditions: elevated temperatures from food and drink preparation equipment and cooler temperatures in refrigerated areas

- Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 for Helpers and from $17.00 to $22.00 for Cooks.
- Employment Type: Part-time (up to 30 hours)/ Full-time (over 32 hours)
