Phoenix Fireplaces is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Fireplace Sales Consultant to join our growing team. If you enjoy helping homeowners create beautiful living spaces, building relationships, and earning a competitive income through sales, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Fireplace Sales Consultant, you will work directly with homeowners, builders, contractors, and designers to help them select the perfect fireplace, stove, insert, mantel, and outdoor living products for their projects. You will guide customers through the sales process from initial consultation to final purchase while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customers in our showroom and provide expert product recommendations
- Generate and follow up on sales leads
- Develop relationships with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and trade professionals
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales orders
- Maintain product knowledge on gas, wood-burning, electric, and outdoor fireplaces
- Coordinate with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Assist with showroom merchandising and product displays
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM and sales systems
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred (home improvement, remodeling, construction, retail, or related industries a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude
- Ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Comfortable learning technical product information
- Proficient with computers and basic business software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
