Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant and Toddler Floater to join our dynamic early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will provide flexible, high-quality care and support across multiple classrooms, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. As a Floater, you will have the opportunity to work with infants and toddlers, assisting lead teachers and maintaining continuity in care while fostering developmentally appropriate activities. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for infants and toddlers
- Provide attentive child supervision, ensuring safety at all times during indoor and outdoor activities
- Support diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines with patience and care
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid and pediatric CPR protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies that foster positive interactions
- Adapt quickly to different classroom needs by rotating between rooms as assigned to ensure consistent coverage and support
