Our client is an international company, specializing in software, and instrumentation, for oil & gas, food and medical industries. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Financial Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position is on-site.

The Financial Data Analyst is a full-time, direct-hire, on-site role based in Lawrenceville, GA. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing financial and operational data to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. The Financial Data Analyst will prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, build dashboards, and develop data models to identify trends, variances, and performance drivers. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with finance and business stakeholders to define data requirements, performing data reconciliation and quality checks, and presenting findings in clear, actionable formats. The individual in this role will also assist in improving reporting processes, documenting methodologies, and supporting special projects such as cost analysis, profitability studies, and scenario modeling.
Your Qualifications

- Decipher corporate data and tool standards into practical guidance for local business areas to ensure consistent and accurate data usage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into practical business insights.
- Design and maintain standardized processes for analytics, reporting, and data quality management.
- Supervise master data quality and collaborate with business owners to align with corporate standards and local requirements.
- Confirm data is consistent, accurate, and trusted across systems so reporting remains dependable and operational issues are minimized.
- Partner with business leaders to define analytical requirements, create ad-hoc reports, and dashboards to support Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Leverage relevant data sources and performing advanced analytical modeling using large datasets to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead productivity initiatives to support the automation of manual data processes including customizing global Power BI reports to support local needs and working with the IT team to migrate external reports to workspaces within the ERP system.
- Interpret complex data into clear insights that directly influence forecasting, planning, cost management, and operational improvement.
- Collaborate with the North American IT and the Global Digital Performance organization to evaluate current landscape, enhance artificial intelligence capabilities, and support financial data transitions on ERP upgrades.
- Develop AI Agents (Copilot) to streamline and automate local business processes.
- Advance digital capabilities that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and modernize reporting tools across the business.
- Provide oversight, training and first level support for business users using Power BI, Excel (including working with advanced functions and macros) and other analytical tools.
- Collaborate across Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT functions to ensure alignment on analytics and reporting solutions.

Your Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree with focus in Statistics, Computer Science or Finance, or closely related analytical field. Min of 3 to 5 yrs. of progressively responsible experience in data analytics, financial reporting, or business intelligence.
- Seeking a candidate with experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have verifiable advanced analytical capability with a proactive, forward-looking mindset, including hands-on application of process automation analytics and robotic process automation (RPA)
- Advanced skills related to Excel (expert-level use of complex functions, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA & Macros)
- Proficiency in data analytics and data analysis, including experience with spreadsheets, databases, and analytical or BI tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
- Proven experience designing and maintaining data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including robust data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.
- Must have practical experience building, deploying, and sustaining AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot Agents is highly preferred.
- Working responsibility for data governance, data quality management, and establishing and enforcing standard KPI definitions.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the demonstrated track record of translating data into actionable business insights.
- Ability to manage complex datasets and systems while supporting leaders with high‑impact analytics that shape key business decisions.

Pay: $97,988.16 - $102,878.21 per year
