Duties
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of sales representatives and merchandisers to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching and performance management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners to enhance brand loyalty.
- Conduct route driving and merchandising activities to ensure optimal product placement and visibility in retail outlets.
- Analyze sales data, pricing strategies, and market trends to identify opportunities for upselling and increased profitability.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient route planning, heavy lifting of promotional materials, and timely product deliveries.
- Organize regional promotional campaigns and events that boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management within the beverage or consumer goods industry; military background is a plus for leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product value propositions and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in pricing strategies, math skills for sales calculations, and organizational skills for managing multiple territories.
- Valid commercial driving license with experience in route driving; ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards, route driving techniques, and upselling tactics to maximize sales opportunities.
