Full Job Description

You’ll welcome guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for an exceptional stay. Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
Mitigate customer complaints as needed
Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers
Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready

Qualifications

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, from check-ins to handling inquiries, with a smile.
Proven track record of resolving guest issues promptly and professionally, enhancing their stay.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with guests and team members alike.
Familiarity with booking systems and the ability to manage reservations across various platforms.
Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and guest account information.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet guest needs and hotel demands.

Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
