## Job Overview
We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and automotive repair, coupled with excellent customer service skills. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Newer, more modern shop complete with Air Conditioning for the warmer months of the year!
## Duties
- Interact with customers to determine their auto service needs
- Provide estimates for services and repairs
- Coordinate with the service department to schedule repairs and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate and timely completion of work
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate
## Qualifications
- Prior experience in auto service management or automotive repair is required
- Knowledge of brake systems, tire services, and mechanical components
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in auto estimating software is a plus
