Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician supports manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Facilities teams to maximize equipment uptime, ensure safe operations, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and support manufacturing operations

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and facility systems

Set up, adjust, and maintain automated, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and conveyorized equipment

Diagnose equipment, controls, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement corrective actions

Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work orders, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities

Inspect, clean, repair, assemble, and disassemble machine tooling and equipment components

Assist with installation, startup, debugging, and modification of production equipment and facility systems
-
Support facility maintenance activities including minor HVAC, building repairs, painting, and general upkeep
-
Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend replacement parts and maintenance supplies
-
Work with equipment vendors and service providers during installations, upgrades, and repairs
-
Support environmental, safety, and hazardous waste handling procedures following required training

Assist with development and maintenance of maintenance procedures and documentation

Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and 5S initiatives

Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and maintenance standards
Qualifications
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Associate degree or technical/trade school certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred
Experience
-
2–4 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred

Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment in a production environment

Experience with electrical systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred

Experience with CMMS software and preventive maintenance programs preferred
-
Basic HVAC maintenance experience is a plus
