We are seeking compassionate, dedicated and qualified HHAs and CNAs to fill hourly positions in Brevard County who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others each and every day. As a Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional in-home support to our clients and local Veterans. Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and report any changes
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Follow care plans accurately to meet each client’s unique needs.
- Bathing assistance and hygiene
- Continence and toileting care
- Oral hygiene
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, AHCA Level 2 Background, CPR, TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray

CNA or HHA Certification (will test for HHA at FirstLight with related job experience)
Two Hours Certification for HIV, Alzheimer’s, and Medication Assistance.
Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in home health, senior care, or assisted living preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility.
- Compassionate attitude and dedication to client well-being.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
- Guaranteed at least 25 hours weekly
