First Grade Teacher (Full-Time Position)
St. Paul Catholic School, a co-educational PreK-8 parish school in the Diocese of Trenton serving more than 285 students, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic First Grade Teacher for a full-time position.
We are looking for a passionate educator who is committed to fostering academic excellence while nurturing the spiritual, social, and emotional growth of each child. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and eager to work as part of a faith-filled community of educators.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment
- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to promote student success
- Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- New Jersey Teaching Certification (or eligibility for certification) required
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Proficiency with educational technology and classroom technology integration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Position Details
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8-hour workday
