About the role
The Machine Operator produces quality components utilizing a variety of primary machinery, including state-of-the-art zinc die cast machines (in various sizes), robots, vision systems, and other automated equipment, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge zinc die casting technology.
- Primary Operator: This role involves working directly with raw materials, setting up machinery, and performing more complex operations. It requires a higher level of expertise and offers a pay range of $23-$27 per hour plus shift differential working 2nd or 3rd shift.
Compensation: $25.30-$29.70
2nd Shift: (2:30pm-11:00pm)
3rd Shift: (10:30pm-7:00am)
What you will be doing
- Ability to run and maintain the Zinc Remelt system and run various machines in secondary areas.
- The associate is responsible for the quality and quantity of products being manufactured in a team environment. Utilizes business system to document productivity and quality issues.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping practices (5S).
- Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and flex to areas of constraint. Follow instruction from Set Up Operators on daily tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery according to pre set schedule.
- Ability to utilize databases to choose proper tooling.
About you
- Ability to lift up to 33 lbs.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient with Measuring Devices
- Safety and quality conscious
- Able to read and interpret work instructions.
