Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a detail-oriented Enrollment & Credentialing Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in medical credentialing, a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, and be proficient with credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite. This role plays a key part in ensuring providers are properly credentialed and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the full credentialing lifecycle for providers, including primary source verification, application processing, and re-credentialing.
- Maintain accurate provider records and documentation in credentialing systems.
- Monitor and apply relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards to credentialing processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external organizations to obtain necessary documentation and resolve issues.
- Prepare and submit credentialing materials to payers and credentialing committees as required.
- Track expiration dates for certifications, licenses, and credentials; initiate timely renewals and follow-up.
Minimum qualifications
- Proven experience in medical enrollment or credentialing within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Proficient in using credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
