Breaking Point Escape Rooms in Rancho Cucamonga is hiring a part-time Game Master / Guest Experience Host.
This is a customer-facing entertainment job. You will welcome guests, explain game rules, monitor live escape room games, give hints when needed, reset rooms after each game, and help create a fun, professional experience for every group.
We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, fast-moving, and comfortable talking to guests. This is not a job where you can hide in the back. You must be able to speak clearly, pay attention to details, and stay calm when guests need help.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and check them in before their escape room game
- Explain rules clearly and professionally
- Monitor games through cameras/audio
- Give helpful hints without ruining the game
- Reset rooms accurately after each group
- Keep the lobby, props, and game areas clean and organized
- Handle basic customer questions in person and by phone
- Help create a fun, safe, and memorable guest experience
- Report broken props, technical issues, or guest concerns to management
- Follow company procedures and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be comfortable speaking to groups
- Strong customer service skills
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Able to stay calm under pressure
- Able to follow instructions and reset rooms correctly
- Basic computer/phone skills
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move around during shifts
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred, but not required
- Experience in customer service, hosting, theater, acting, events, retail, restaurants, or entertainment
- Interest in puzzles, games, escape rooms, immersive entertainment, or performance
- Comfortable creating an energetic and fun guest experience
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Weekend availability is required because most escape room bookings happen on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Typical shifts may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holiday periods.
Pay
$16.90–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and performance.
Paid training provided.
