Job Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant, and will consider a well qualified CNA with a desire to advance their training to include vaccines and laboratory testing, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including Pediatrics, hospital medicine, Urgent Care, and family medicine. Compensation depends on experience.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians
- Record patient information in electronic medical record systems
- Take patient vital signs and prepare patients for examinations
- Provide patient education and support
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting
- Knowledge of Laboratory and vaccine processes and procedures
- Familiarity with outpatient care and patient service
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
