Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of windows on both interior and exterior surfaces using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach windows
- Conduct regular janitorial and custodial tasks to maintain overall cleanliness of work sites, including wiping down frames, sills, and surrounding areas
- Follow safety protocols diligently when working at heights or with equipment to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with team members to complete large-scale commercial cleaning projects efficiently and effectively
- Inspect windows for damage or issues requiring maintenance or repair, reporting findings promptly
- Maintain detailed records of completed work, safety checks, and equipment usage
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles with a focus on window maintenance preferred
- Hands-on experience operating scissor lifts or similar height-access equipment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work at heights confidently while adhering to safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
