Swimzy School is looking for an experienced, reliable swim instructor to join our growing team for the summer season. We work with children and beginner swimmers, and we're looking for someone patient, encouraging, and confident in the water who can help us keep up with client demand.
About the Role
- Teach private and 2:1 swim lessons to children and beginners
- Travel to clients' homes/pools across the San Diego area
- Flexible summer schedule — mornings, afternoons, and/or weekends available
- Many of our clients specifically request a female instructor for their children, so this is a strong plus for this role
What We're Looking For
- Previous swim instruction experience (1+ years preferred)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (Water Safety Instructor certification a plus)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations
- Comfortable and confident working with young children and nervous beginners
- Strong communication skills with both kids and parents
- Punctual, professional, and dependable
