Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule and routes, providing flexibility and independence in your work.
Duties
- Plan and execute route driving to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly in route driving and freight transportation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
