MINIMUM 5 YEARS RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Point Loma Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Air is growing, and we're looking for experienced Residential Service Electricians and Electrical Installers who want to join an established, professional company where strong performance is rewarded.
We've served San Diego homeowners since 1988 and specialize in residential service, repair, troubleshooting, electrical upgrades, panels, rewires, EV chargers, lighting, and older-home electrical systems.
TWO TYPES OF ELECTRICIANS WE'RE HIRING Residential Service Electricians
This position is for experienced electricians who are technically strong and comfortable working directly with homeowners.
You should be able to:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical problems accurately
- Perform thorough electrical system evaluations
- Identify safety, reliability, and improvement opportunities
- Communicate findings clearly and professionally
- Develop and present multiple solutions and options
- Complete service work efficiently and correctly
- Maintain excellent photos, documentation, and job notes
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience
Strong communication and residential service/sales experience are highly valued. Service Titan Experience is a plus
Residential Electrical Installers
If you're an experienced electrician who would rather install and produce than sell, we want to talk to you too.
Our installers handle projects including:
- Electrical panel replacements and upgrades
- Dedicated circuits
- EV chargers
- Lighting and controls
- Rewires
- Older-home electrical upgrades
- Troubleshooting and repairs
- Larger residential electrical projects
We're looking for electricians who take pride in clean, efficient, code-compliant work and know how to complete jobs correctly and productively.
Hourly base with PERFORMANCE-BASED PAY — UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL
We believe our best electricians should have the opportunity to earn significantly more.
Our compensation is performance-based with unlimited earning potential. Your earning opportunity increases with your productivity, technical ability, completed work, and overall performance. We offer a base hourly rate with unlimited upside based on productivity.
If you're an experienced, highly productive electrician who is tired of being paid the same as someone producing half as much, this may be the right environment for you.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered, applicants must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Have a valid driver's license and meet our driving-record requirements
- Have a clean DMV record
- Have no DUI conviction within the past 7 years
- Be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Have strong residential electrical troubleshooting and/or installation skills
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Take pride in workmanship, productivity, and personal accountability
