Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and ethical Apartment Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned apartment communities. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to upholding our company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Areas:
- Entrance & Exit Areas:
- Clean and polish glass doors; spot-clean interior glass.
- Remove smudges, fingerprints, and debris from door frames and hardware.
- Common Areas:
- Wipe all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Sweep, mop, or vacuum hard surface floors and carpets.
- Clean guest suites upon request.
- Specific Areas:
- Meeting/Conference Rooms:
- Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors as needed.
- Clean and dust all surfaces in designated areas (Lobby, Pet Spa, Office, Business Center).
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Detail vacuum all carpets.
- Arrange furniture.
- Kitchen Serving Area:
- Clean and wipe all surfaces, including sinks.
- Restock paper and soap products.
- Clean the exterior of appliances (refrigerator, stove).
- Clean interior/exterior of microwaves.
- Clean tables, chairs, and cabinet exteriors.
- Empty trash.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Fitness Area:
- Spot clean walls, light switches, and doors as needed.
- Clean and dust all fitness equipment.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Clean mirrors.
- Clean and polish water fountains.
- Detail vacuum all carpets.
- Sweep and mop hard surface floors.
- Restrooms:
- Restock paper and soap products.
- Clean sinks and countertops.
- Clean and polish dispensers, fixtures, metal, and mirrors.
- Clean and disinfect sanitary napkin dispensers.
- Clean and disinfect all toilets and urinals.
- Spot clean tile walls and partitions.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Trash Management:
- Empty all trash receptacles and replace liners; leave extra liners in cans.
- Clean/wipe all trash can lids.
- Transport trash to the dumpster for areas including Lobby, Office, Business Center, Meeting Rooms, Gym, and Sky Lounge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
- Observed holidays (no cleaning services provided):
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.95 - $14.00 per hour
