Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and train team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to maximize profitability.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing staff to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Monitor food production processes, including catering, banquets, bar service, and quick-service operations to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and shift supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, food handling regulations, and kitchen management.
- Previous experience in hospitality management roles such as assistant manager or restaurant supervisor is highly desirable. Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
