Joe Basil Chevrolet is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cashier for our Cash Office to join our team full-time. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, providing excellent customer service, and keeping financial transactions accurate and organized.
Position: Cashier – Cash Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Schedule:
- Monday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday: Rotating schedule
- Week A: Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Saturday off
- Week B: Friday off, Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This position involves handling clerical tasks, assisting with customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with management, service advisors, sales consultants and other team members to maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
What You'll Do:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing and data entry
- Accurately process cash, credit card, check, and other customer transactions
- Balance and reconcile daily cash receipts
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Prepare and organize daily deposits
- Assist customers with payments and provide friendly, professional service
- Handle cash and financial information with confidentiality and accuracy
- Communicate with other dealership departments regarding payments and transactions
- Follow established cash-handling and accounting procedures
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
