About the Role:
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable Property Maintenance worker to join our team in Iron Mountain, MI. In this role, you will handle a diverse mix of outdoor groundskeeping and light indoor maintenance. You will thrive here if you enjoy a dynamic workday where your tasks shift with the seasons, ranging from precision lawn care to hands-on building repairs.
Core Responsibilities
- Groundskeeping: Perform lawn care, weed control, leaf raking, mulching, hedge trimming, and trash removal.
- Winter Maintenance: Execute snow removal using shovels, snowblowers, and plow trucks.
- Indoor Repairs: Handle work orders involving light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
- Community Relations: Being approachable, reliable, and responsive to resident needs and complaints.
- Inventory & Safety: Track maintenance supplies, service equipment, and follow safety laws.
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Licensing Required: Valid driver's license with a maintainable clean driving record.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stretch, and access tight spaces.
- Skills: Strong customer service and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

- Schedule: Day shift (Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Shift Flexibility: Day shift required; willingness to work night or overnight shifts is highly preferred for seasonal demands.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certifications.
- Benefits: Paid time off (PTO) eligible upon full-time qualification
