Description:
Private lesson instructors maintain a studio of music students who take lessons during school hours on campus at SBA in designated private lesson rooms.
Private Lesson Instructors must exhibit:
A strong commitment to the school mission and philosophy.
An understanding that music education is a ministry.
Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
The ability to collaborate with Arts administration and parents.
The ability to disciple and mentor students.
Responsibilities:
Teach private music lessons
Maintain communication with parents of students regarding lessons and performances
Develop and keep a regular teaching schedule
Work closely with the Arts administration to schedule and advertise performances.
Assume responsibility to perform any work as assigned by direct supervisor.
Maintain communication and work closely with Arts administration.
Qualifications:
Committed to following Jesus Christ.
Advanced knowledge of respective instrument or voice.
Experienced performer on respective instrument or voice.
Must be dedicated, hard-working, and organized.
